چکیده
The scientific review considers the mechanisms of action cytoplasmic microRNAs, namely miRNA-mediated silencing, which is caused during initiation and post-initiation period translation. To write article, information was searched using Scopus, Web Science, MedLine, PubMed, Google Scholar, EMBASE, Global Health, Cochrane Library, CyberLeninka databases. In cap-dependent translation, recognizes promotes recruitment other factors, in particular eIF4G, assemble complex. Also, eIF4G interacts some PABP leads formation a closed loop mRNA, determining ribosome. stated microRNAs can: 1) terminate preventing attachment or promoting dissociation ribosome subunits; 2) induce mRNA degradation elongation 3) activate protein sequestration. authors state can directly indirectly inhibit functioning ribosomes, disrupting competent 80S ribosome, subunits its promotion along subunits. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that control gene expression by recognizing and hybridizing to a specific sequence generally located in the 3΄ untranslated region (UTR) of targeted mRNAs. miRNA-induced inhibition of translation occurs during the initiation step, most probably at the level of ribosome scanning. In this process, the RNA-induced silencing complex interacts both with P...

Translation initiation is a complex process in which initiator tRNA, 40S, and 60S ribosomal subunits are assembled by eukaryotic initiation factors (eIFs) into an 80S ribosome at the initiation codon of mRNA. The cap-binding complex eIF4F and the factors eIF4A and eIF4B are required for binding of 43S complexes (comprising a 40S subunit, eIF2/GTP/Met-tRNAi and eIF3) to the 5' end of capped mRNA...

Translation, the process of mRNA-encoded protein synthesis, requires a complex apparatus, composed of the ribosome, tRNAs and additional protein factors, including aminoacyl tRNA synthetases. The ribosome provides the platform for proper assembly of mRNA, tRNAs and protein factors and carries the peptidyl-transferase activity. It consists of small and large subunits. The ribosomes are ribonucle...

The structure of the eukaryotic initiation factor eIF4E bound to a cognate domain of eIF4G and m(7)GDP in this issue of Cell shows that these factors undergo coupled folding to form a stable complex with high cap binding activity that promotes efficient ribosomal attachment to mRNA during translation initiation.

miRNAs silence their complementary target mRNAs by translational repression as well as by poly(A) shortening and mRNA decay. In Drosophila, miRNAs are typically incorporated into Argonaute1 (Ago1) to form the effector complex called RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). Ago1-RISC associates with a scaffold protein GW182, which recruits additional silencing factors. We have previously shown that...
